Today was pretty much amazing.
It started with last night.
After the service, Kaylie and Hunter and I went to Guthrie's cabin.
Then Brianna came a little bit later.
We had bagel bites and watched Monk and played Apples to Apples.
Then Hunter and Kaylie went home and Brianna and Guthrie and I
sat on the boat and talked until literally 2:30 in the morning.
Then this morning, I got up and went to say goodbye to Hunter,
which was very sad.
Then after she left [45 minutes late],
Kaylie and I drove Brianna back to Bakers' Birches.
In the car, with the music at full blast.
We listened to:
I'm Movin' On
Rock What Ya Got
Crawl
and some other random stuff on my cd from Zack.
Then we got back to my cabin and my mom told us that we forgot Bo.
So we went BACK and got Bo.
On the way back with him, there was this giant truck of wood, and it blocked the road for a while.
So we just put the music on FULL BLAST.
After that, we went to my cabin and played Life: Twists and Turns
and watched Adam's dinner theater DVD.
After THAT we had lunch, then we got on the computer for a bit.
Following the computer, Kaylie and I went kayaking.
Sort of.
Then we did a footbridge photoshoot, then went to the camp and sat at Spirit Park and mocked people's annoying laughs.
THEN we went to dinner, and now I am here.
And I need to go take a shower, because service is in like 20 minutes.
I'm staying at Kaylie's tonight, and we are FOR SURE playing Apples to Apples again.

Monk AND Apples to Apples?!?! Arrrgh, you lucky dog! But I'm reading Out of Africa, so there.
Which is an awesome book...
You've READ IT??!?!?!
"There was knight like the young Lochinvar."
You amaze me, sah.
I get that a lot...
Rat and rabbit it, I just realized I misquoted the poem. It's supposed to be "There NEVER was knight like the young Lochinvar."
Indeed? Do you write with a quill pen, too? Or at least a fountain pen?
(Kelly coughs) I made a mistake. I read "Sojurn in Africa". Hahahah, can't understand how I got THAT mixed up!
Well no, I write in furies, and I find a laptop more conclusive to furied writing. Although, I had this awesome fountain-type pen for some art projects that I was doing.
Well, you should read it...Isak Dinesen's prose is almost poetry. It's certainly something.
Erm. *delicate cough* I think you mean "conducive."
Aye, the one I've been using lately came in a set with other calligraphy pens.
Ahhh yes, condusive! That was the word I was searching for. I knew something didn't look right...
and yes, I spelled that wrong on purpose, heheheehehe
(ok, no I didn't)
Oh, yes, I'm sure you did.
Haha, I'm eating homegrown cantaloupe!
And I'm eating blue gummy sharks. I love having a blue tongue!
I rode an ornery little punk of a 3-year-old Appaloosa today. Oooooowwww... Oh, my aching aches.
"Aaaaagonnyyyyy!"
Danny Kaye. I need Danny Kaye. And Basil Rathbone and Glynis Johns and Angela Lansbury. Someone get me The Court Jester, quick!
I got a few aching aches today also. Mostly my rear and my quads. The hands hurt a bit also. The cause...I rode 50 miles on my mountain bike today. I did a 25 mile loop from my house twice. I got halfway through the first time, then my pedal busted off, hehehe. So after 12 1/2 miles of 1-pedal riding, I got a new pedal.
THEN! Halfway through the 2nd round, my right quad started cramping up. OUCH! I made it home though, and it was tons of fun!
KELLY!!! Did you pull the gummy sharks out of the back of an airplane seat? oh please tell me you did...
I MISS PERU!!!
Why do we humans do such things to ourselves? And willingly?!
Because it's great fun!
Nope, these were the gummy sharks I pulled out of the rafters at Orlando's. I got like a whole 5 pound bag, no kidding!
Gummy Sharks: The snack that bites back.
(Kelly doubles over with laughter)
I'm going to be using that one for a week!
I'll take that as a compliment. ;D
Go right ahead
Thank you, I shall.
Anyone care to help me clean tack tonight?
Do you get dirty doing it? Is it hard work? If so, I'm in!
Not so much dirty, but one's hands do get sticky from the leather conditioner. It's only moderately slightly difficult. Not too bad.
I ended up watching the Cosby Show while I cleaned. That's the first time I've really watched it. There's no one like Bill Cosby.
The first time?!?!?!?! Holy USB cables! The Cosby Show is amazing. I will warn you though, so of the later seasons have a show or two thrown in that are not that great; i.e. have nasty themes or stuff like that. Over all though, SWEET SHOW!
Holey rusted metal, Batman!
Blah, Hollywood must do such things and ruin a perfectly decent show.
Yep, don't ever want to go against the crowd...
Scum, indeed.
In the words of Milton, we were "sufficient to stand, free to fall." Sadly, we fell.
Alas, it is the dastardly truth!
Paradise, however lost it may have been, has since been regained, which is truly a joyous thing.
