Peru Update

We have offically raised our core support for Peru! The check came in two days ago that put us $4 over the top!

There are around 85 children at the orphanage we're going to, ranging in age from 15 days to 17 years.
We're also going to be visiting a school with around 180 kids, Preschool through 12th grade.
I'm so excited to minister to all the kids, to tell them stories and give them gifts.
Doug and Marilyn said that we have a few hours at the orphanage to just love the kids. That part makes me so happy.

My mother is going to single-handedly bring back 40 illegal aliens in her suitcase. They will all be under the age of 15.

Kelly, what's the code for that countdown thing? Can you send it to me to put on my profile?

A Piece of Advice From Your Beloved Penpal (APAFYBP): Don't elope with any handsome Peruvian boys. If you do, I will disown you and scratch your name off the list of people to whom I'm going to send an autographed copy of my first book.

So there.

Oh, and don't die of food poisoning or anything. Or get lice.

:D

Have fun!

What's your e-mail address? Blogger won't let me post it as a comment.

Good. :) I'll be able to send you the book, after all. And anybody you end up marrying has to have my approval. Or else.

How is the ol' Z-man? And why was he quacking?

p.s. Tell him I suggested to imitate a peacock next time. It's a bit trickier, but definitely more effective and impressive.

I think Ladygreen was talking to me....odd that someone else has a blogger name so close to mine. And here I thought I was being original. ;D

Don't worry, you shall. You're right up there next to Big Dave. *grin*

It is a lovely campus.

Lovely like the music I'm listening to. Prince Caspian soundtrack. Still haven't seen the movie.

So....I bought Business Up Front/Party in Back. Cool CD. Their music is fun to listen to, but some of it is like Hardcore Tween Music. Like somebody stuck Hannah-Montana and Mxpx in a blender.
